Textile Design for Interiors

ABOUT THE COURSE

Over 8 weeks, you will discover and experiment with a wide range of textile techniques, equipping you with the skills to design your own interiors collection.

We’ll cover processes including mark making, dyeing techniques, block printing, weaving, using a knitting machine, hand and machine embroidery, embellishment as well as some basic photoshop training to bring everything together.

You’ll discover textile artists and designers to be inspired by and influence your own experiments in textiles with research, experimentation and creating to take your design concepts through to a thoughtful interiors collection of your own.
