ABOUT THE COURSE
Discover how textiles can be used to tell stories, preserve memories and create beautiful, meaningful works of art. Over eight weeks you will explore a range of dyeing, printing, felting and stitching techniques while developing one or two personal textile pieces inspired by your own memories, experiences or treasured objects.
Working with photographs, fabric, found objects such as buttons or pieces of clothing, and a variety of textile processes, you will learn how to layer materials to create unique artworks. Along the way, there will be opportunities to share stories, ideas and inspiration in a welcoming and supportive environment.
